Robert Canterbury made his theatrical debut at 16, playing the part of Psuedolus in “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum”. Once he graduated High School, his dramatic pursuits came to a halt. Fast forward about 45 years to when His wife and him moved to Mena. Once they became acclimated to a different way of living, Robert auditioned for and got the part of Jem Rodney in Silas Marner. Since then, Robert have been cast in “You Can’t Take it With You”, “Clue” and “Arsenic & Old Lace” as well as serving on the OLT Board of Directors since May 2023.
Robert enjoys aiding people in forgetting about their everyday lives every once in a while. His first love is music, and he has done plenty of that after graduating from high school. Theater, however, will generally reach a wider and more diverse audience.
